Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Rev. Williams earned his Master's in Counseling Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is a licensed Mental Health Counselor Intern with the State of Florida. He is a Clinically Trained Minister certified under the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. His theoretical orientation is cognitive behavior therapy. He has received training in group therapy, marriage and family, individual counseling, addictions disorders and crisis intervention.

He provides pastoral care for those affected by life's circumstances and premarital counseling for couples seeking to be united in holy matrimony. Appointments are required and can be arranged by calling the office (407) 628-1602. In addition, a nominal fee will be charged to the client, payable when services are rendered.


The Women of Ward (WOW) is a ministry that seeks to strengthen the ties of the female members of Ward Chapel in mutual love and fellowship, christian service and living for Christ. Some of the activities include sponsoring Women's Day and providing a special activity for the males of the church at Father's Day. There is also an Adult Praise Dance team.


Sarah's Kitchen is a community outreach ministry that caters to the Senior citizens of the Winter Park area. It meets on Thursdays of each week at 11:00 am for food, fellowship and information that affects seniors. Other special activities are planned throughout the year.


The Food Pantry is a community outreach ministry of the Cora Jackson Women's Missionary Society. It distributes food to needy families the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 - 11:30 am. Recipients must meet eligibility requirement.


The Health and Wellness Committee seeks to encourage healthy living by encouraging better eating choices and habits and exercise. The committee holds a session each quarter where healthy living tips are provided along with a light exercise workout. Weights, BMIs and blood pressure checks are also provided.


The purpose of the Marriage Ministry is to strengthen the foundation of the Christian family. It provides married couples the opportunity to meet and discuss issues relative to maintaining a strong marriage. It also provides opportunities for couples to fellowship together.


The Transportation Ministry is available to provide transportation for members and guests who wish to attend services and events at the church but do not have access to transportation. The ministry also provides transportation for any organization of the church to attend outside meetings and events. To request transportation please call the church office.
